Wire Crimping Tool
Description
I have two Crimping tools used in wiring and cable management in the fabrication of control panels. They are in good condition, you can examine, test and buy it. I have oiled and cleaned it.
It is a collectible as it was used in fabricating many control panels, that were one of a kind, used in Industrial Automation.
The price is high i know, i would rather keep it in my Tool Chest; than sell it at a low price.
An electrical crimp is a type of solderless electrical connection which uses physical pressure to join the contacts. Crimp connectors are typically used to terminate stranded wire. Stripped wire is inserted through the correctly sized opening of the connector, and a crimper is used to tightly squeeze the opening against the wire. Depending on the type of connector used.
An electric wire ferrule (sometimes electric end terminal) is a metal tube crimped over stranded wire to secure the strands within a screw terminal. Electrical insulation may be included to protect any exposed portion of the wire not completely inside the screw terminal post.
